Green. Two weeks after my first fill and I'm still green! I called True Results today and cancelled, yes, cancelled, my next fill. I don't need it. As hard as it was to say no, it was the right choice for me. I have a whole year of NUT visits and fills, there's no rush. This feels good to me. The weight loss is steady (a few plateaus, but related to Aunt Flo). If I get a fill, I'm worried that I'll eat even less than my 1,000 calories and lose weight too fast. I'd like to reduce the inevitable skin sagging everywhere. So far the loss is coming from my boobs (EEEEK!!!!) and my face. I hope I don't end up looking like some sort of sideshow freak. I really don't picture myself getting plastic surgery. I'll go kicking and screaming if I have to do that. :(

ReplyDeleteI am the same way - banded at the end of July this year and the only people who know are my best friend, my fiancee and my sister. Oh and all the people with internet access haha.
ReplyDelete41 lbs !!! You are so awesome !!! I love it :) Grapes are on my no-no list too ... wierd. Probably has to do with the skin. Not that I've had a fill yet (so I know nussing) but I'm with you - I would think that you want to be 'open' enough to be able to eat and have enough cals and nutrition. You're doing great !!
ReplyDeleteYou are doing AWESOME!!! I'm doubtful that you will be some kind of sideshow freak LOL!! Some day you may be able to tell others your journey. I'm surprised at how many people I've told; I originally was only telling close friends and family, but I've opened up and the support is definitely out there. It's your own personal decision and your secret is safe with me!!!!! Keep up the great work!!
