Officially Banded!!

 Pre-op - nifty gown and hat!

I knew that the IV start would be an issue!  Nurse tried several times and then the anesthesiologist ended up getting one in.  Apparently I have "valves" in my veins. 

 Success at last!  Took 45 minutes to get the IV in.  Crappy veins!!

Here goes nothing!  I'm scared out of my mind, but you wouldn't know it from this picture!

This was taken after I got home.  It was taken up by my head and the pants are red if that helps.  The port is the most sore, it is the one furthest away from the camera to the left of my belly button.  Holy COW - talk about BLOATED!!
